The I, Henry Photo project is a feature documentary currently in development. It’s about discovering our history through 3 generations of Baltimore photojournalists. And uncovering a treasure trove of tens of thousands of mostly never-before-seen daily life photos showcasing the history of Baltimore, as well as the nation at-large. The prodigious collection, photographed over multiple decades, captures American history, culture, entertainment, sports, government and politics, shot from the perspective of the African-American community. Web Phillips, the current family photojournalist, is spearheading a modern-day effort to preserve and archive the photography for future generations.
